WHY SOULD I CHOOSE A EUROPEAN YEAR ?
It is a sine qua non for young fast-track job seekers or students to have a knowledge of not just two but three languages and also to have had experience of living in different countries thereby gaining a deeper understanding and acceptance of other cultures.
It is a stimulating course aimed at students or young people from all over the world aged 17 - 23 years who have finished their secondary or college education, or those who wish to take a year off between school and college or university.
WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION?
- you have completed your secondary or college education (or you wish to take the course during a sabbatical year)
- You are 17 - 23 years old (older participants may be accepted on request).
- You must be well motivated and prepared to adapt to a new social environment.
- You wish to consolidate and improve your existing level of education.
- you must be prepared to study hard for the whole course
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You choose a combination of two languages you would like to study from English, German, French, Italian, Dutch or Spanish.
The Euro-programme takes one academic year; a full academic year consists of 31 weeks divided into 3 terms. The full-time programme requires attendance Monday-Friday, in classes of on average 6 - 12, maximum 14 students.
You spend the first two terms in the country where the first language is spoken. You improve skills in this first language and begin the study of the second language (beginner to intermediate level only). Then you spend the third term in the country of your second language choice.

Price: The tuition price including the tuition and also the excursions - comes to: 31 weeks: 6.420 € 20 weeks: 4.142 € 22 weeks: 4.556 € After application has reached our head office you'll be invited to pay a deposit of 900 €. Soon after, your application will be sent to the two choosen institutes. They have a permanent accommodation and welfare department within the school.
